  10. To run Private Hard-Core Gallery 2 double click on the icon: CD-HC2-640 for 640 * 480 dots display and 
  11. CD-HC-800 for 800 * 600 dots display.
  12. The program will automatically check your processor and color depth of your screen and adjust for maximum performance.

  14. Memory Make sure that you have the proper amount of RAM. 
  15. To run CD Magazine you need for 
  16. 8 bits color (256 colors)  4 MB free RAM,
  17. 16 bits color (32000 colors)  6 MB free RAM
  18. 32 bits color ( million colors) 8 MB free RAM

  20. CPU Minimum recommendation is LC 475 (68040) or greater.

  22. QuickTime™ Driver If you are running system 7.5 you can update your 
  23. QuickTime to ver. 2.1 from the QuickTime™ folder. If you are running an older system than 7.5, you will need to drag the QuickTime™ 2.1 file (from the folder “QuickTime™”) into your current System folder. Placing the QuickTime™ files in the System folder, a dialog box will ask you to place the files in the System Extensions folder. Click “OK”, then restart your system.

  25. Sound Manager 3.1 update your Sound Manager to ver 3.1 from the Sound Manager folder.

  27. CD-ROM drive Minimum requirement is double-speed (300Kbs).

  29. MAC Performance optimizing Make sure that no other applications are running.  
  30. Disable any screen saver program. If you are running RAM-Doubler, disable RAM-Doubler by pressing down  the ESC button during startup for more speed.
